He played for Thornton Township High School and the Harvey Colts, both coached by Dontrell Jackson, Marvin Smith, Tony Darden, and Tommy Brown; and for Iowa Central College. Wherever Jacquice played, the energy changed. People traveled from different towns just to watch him compete. Games became must-see events.
